Preemptive Love | Jessica + Jeremy Courtney

Courtney-love-or-work.png

“Our number one responsibility is to raise high-functioning, intelligent, nuanced, loving, service-oriented adults. I think that’s what we’re really trying to do.

And we think there might be an inverse correlation between safety and how we want to raise our kids to be, if we want to raise our kids in the name of protection and then suddenly expect them to flip a switch at 21 or 26 and become service-orientated, loving, nuanced, kind, worldly, and the best sense of culture and open to other ideas.”

Jeremy and Jess Courtney of Preemptive Love talk about how relationships change language, what they learned about how other families do life while living amongst another culture, and how being hopeful is a lot easier when you’re closer to the problem.
